Developed as a response for rioting conditions on crowded city streets where loss of life was unacceptable, Shockwave generates a ball of force that quickly expands, dealing 1d4 points of nonlethal damage (maximum 10d4) and stuns each creature for 1 round. A successful Fortitude save reduces the damage done by half and negates the stun effect. This spell does not affect inanimate objects or creatures that are immune to nonlethal damage, regardless of whether or not they are also immune to the stunned condition.
