If this spell is successfully cast on a creature that has the ability to change their shape, voluntary or otherwise, through the use of an extraordinary or supernatural ability, it forces the target to shapechange every round until the duration ends or the creature runs out of times per day, whichever comes first. This spell has no effect on creatures that do not have an extraordinary or supernatural ability to change their shape.

An affected shapechanger must spend an action every round affected to change their change. If the shapechanger can do this with different kinds of actions (free, immediate, move, standard, full-round, etc), the shapechanger can choose what kind of action to take, so long as the shapechange happens at least once per round. If changing shape takes longer than a round, then it must be completed as quickly as possible, which assumes a full-round action every round until the process is complete unless stated otherwise.

If the shapechanger has the ability choose different forms, the shapechanger is still free to choose which form to take, again so long as the shapechange happens at least once per round or as fast as otherwise possible. Each time the shapechanger shifts into a new form, it takes 1 point per caster level (no save) to a maximum of 15 points per shift. If the shapechanger is incapable of shifting while the duration still exists (like a druid that has run out of times per day for the wild shape ability), Involuntary Shapeshifting has no further effect.
