The Brand of the God-Emperor

Description: The Brand of the God-Emperor is permanently attached to the forearm of the one who bears it. So long as the forearm is attached, the following effects apply.

• All positive energy effects initiated by the wielder, regardless of method, are maximized. Any related saving throw DCs are increased by +2.

• The wielder gains "Blade of Light" as an at-will psi-like ability (ML 20th).

• The wielder gains a +4 enhancement bonus to saving throws to resist compulsion, charm and possession effects.

• The wielder is also seen as the rightful representative of the God-Emperor for the purposes of any items, effects or interactions that are specifically attuned to the God-Emperor of the Cul'Sir empire.

The Brand of the God-Emperor can only be destroyed if it is cut from the forearm of the current wielder, placed on the forearm of a creature that does not have the giant sub-type and then any effect used to heal that creature while the brand is still in contact with the forearm. If the wielder dies in a way that would normally completely destroy the body, a section of skin that bears the brand always remains. Since it has always been passed from giant to giant, the brand has never been at serious risk of being destroyed... so far.
