Description:

This spherical device is one foot in diameter and is adorned with twelve gemstones, representing the twelve known moons of Eberron. Once per day, the Orrey can be rearranged as a standard action to cause one of the twelve moon representations to be in coterminous phase to the Eberron center, causing a manifest zone 60 feet in diameter from the Orrery and lasting for 24 hours. The nature of the manifest is based on which of the following 'moons' is used and while the wielder can end the manifest zone prematurely, only one moon can be used at a time and only one zone per 24 hours.

Daanvi: All spells and powers with the lawful descriptor are Enlarged, as per the Enlarge Spell metamagic feat or the Enlarge Power metapsionic feat.

Dolurrh: All spells and powers are impeded, requiring a caster / manifester check, DC: 20 + spell / power level to operate.

Fernia: All spells and powers with the fire descriptor are Enlarged, as per the Enlarge Spell metamagic feat or the Enlarge Power metapsionic feat.

Irian: The manifest zone acts as a Consecrate spell.

Kythri: All spells and powers with the chaotic descriptor are Enlarged, as per the Enlarge Spell metamagic feat or the Enlarge Power metapsionic feat.

Lamannia: Apply the Augment Summoning feat to any creatures summoned through Summon Nature's Ally that are within the manifest zone.

Mabar: The manifest zone acts as a Desecrate spell.

Risia: All spells and powers with the cold descriptor are Enlarged, as per the Enlarge Spell metamagic feat or the Enlarge Power metapsionic feat.

Shavarath: All spells and powers with that create or modify weapons or improve hostile emotions are Extended, as per the Extend Spell metamagic feat or the Extend Power metapsionic feat.

Syrania: All spells and powers with that involve flight are Extended, as per the Extend Spell metamagic feat or the Extend Power metapsionic feat.

Thelanis: Any fey's spell-like abilities have their caster level increased by +1.

Xoriat: Apply the Advanced Template to any creatures summoned with Summon Monster that are within the manifest zone.

The Orrery of the Planes cannot be activated inside a normal manifest zone, nor can it's area of effect overlap onto the edge of a normal manifest zone. Should an Orrery be activated in an area that develops a normal manifest zone, the Orrery immediately deactivates. Otherwise, the area of effect counts as a manifest zone for the appropriate plane. Very old Orrerys, or those created by the Inspired of Reidra also have the missing thirteenth moon as part of the Orrery. This does not change the over all price.

Dal Quor: All spells from the illusion school and all powers from the telepathy discipline are Extended, as per the Extend Spell metamagic feat or the Extend Power metapsionic feat.
