Description:

This adamantine circlet is covered in intricate runes and a line of rubies. Designed to adjust and fit around the neck of any construct, including warforged, the circlet's primary function is to provide whatever construct it is attached to Fast Healing 1 while the construct is intact and even after its been destroyed, regenerate it back to 1 hit point after an hour since its destruction. The circlet itself is nearly impossible to damage, having a hardness of 25 and 50 hit points. Also, any spell immunities that the construct has also covers the circlet as well. The circlet can only be removed if ordered to by the construct's master or if the construct has been brought to less than 0 hit points and a Wish or Miracle is used.

When worn by a warforged or other construct that has an intelligence, the secondary function of the circlet comes into place. First off, the 'master' is the construct itself, so no one else can order it to remove the circlet, even under the effects of Charm or Dominate effects. The circlet will also absorb the consciousness of the intelligent construct and keeps it in the circlet if the construct dies while wearing it. If the circlet has a consciousness in it and placed on another, unintelligent construct, the held consciousness takes over the new body, keeping the physical attributes, hit points, natural armor class, reach, movement rates, size and senses of the new body, but the mental attributes, class levels, skills, feats, memories, personality and other aspect of the stored consciousness.

If the circlet has a stored consciousness and is worn by another intelligent construct, the moment that the circlet is donned, the original consciousness and the stored one must make opposed Charisma checks; the winner taking control of the body for 24 hours, while the loser is trapped in the circlet and the process repeating the next day. It is possible, but rare, during this conflict that some kind of arrangement can be made between the two minds, even establishing a telepathic link between the 'driving' and stored consciousnesses, but a switch can only be made once every 24 hours.
