Arcane Signet Ring:

Common among dragonmarked heirs and other nobility, an arcane signet ring is a simply a ring with a precious stone magical set to display an Arcane Mark if worn by its rightful owner. Although it is an ring that is enchanted, it does not take up a ring slot. It is possible to fool an arcane signet ring into activating by looking like the proper owner with a Disguise check, DC: 30.

Chameleoweave Clothing:

Woven from fibers of plants found near the Mournland and other high magic areas, this fabric tends to shift its color and texture slightly, based on the wearer's calmer emotions. Chameleoweave clothing provides a +1 circumstance bonus to Disguise checks that are not made to look like someone specific.

Darkweave Clothing:

Darkweave fabric can be made into a set of clothing, being nothing more than spun cotton grown in areas near manifest zones to Mabar. Darkweave clothing provides a +1 circumstance bonus to Stealth checks.

Dolweave Clothing:

Rumored to be woven from the hair of aberrations, this fabric reacts to the wearer's more violent emotions. Dolweave clothing provides a +1 circumstance bonus to Intimidate when the target can see the wearer clearly.

Glamerweave Clothing:

Glamerweave clothing ca be used to make almost any set of clothing, but is typically used for noble garments as it provides a +1 circumstance bonus to Diplomacy checks but only in situations where a refined sense of culture is important. If the garment is specially tailored to the wearer, this bonus increases to a +2.

Outfit, Jungle:

Designed from the explorer's outfit, this has been tailored to be color shades of green and brown and has places to attach sections of the local flora. Wearing a jungle outfit while in a jungle or swamp environment provides a +2 circumstance bonus to Stealth, but imposes a -4 penalty to Stealth in arctic, desert, urban or mountain environments.

Shiftweave Clothing:

Shiftweave clothing is made from refined Chameleoweave that has been saturated with emotional energy to the point where it can not only change colors, but slight change shape as well. Shiftweave clothing provides a +2 circumstance bonus to Disguise checks that are not made to look like someone specific.

Identification Papers:

Papers of identification are needed throughout the kingdoms of Khorvaire to prove one's identity. Usually bound in a simple wooden clasp and certified with an Arcane Mark from House Sivis, they provide a general description of the owner, although some will also include a small portrait of the owner as well. There will also be a place to detail important instructions or recent crimes to local city guard, who can ask for the papers of anyone they encounter. Being caught without ones papers, or if the identity is in question, is grounds to detain you until someone can vouch for your identity.

Indulgence Papers:

This rare document is only issued from nations with a large bureaucracy; Aundair, Breland, Karrnath, The Mror Holds, Thrane and Zilargo being the most common. If someone with an indulgence commits a crime while in the country from which it was issued, the crime will not prosecuted. The original indulgence must be presented in order to get this leniency and redeeming it comes with the agreement that the would-be criminal either immediately leave the country or perform a service on behalf of the country. Because indulgences have multiple overlapping Arcane Marks, forging a copy is difficult (+25 to the DC) and forging a brand new one is impossible without someone in the local justice system to forge the corresponding entry.

Lenience Papers:

Similar to Indulgence Papers, these papers are only issued from nations with a large bureaucracy. However, lenience papers also come with a banner or flag. So long as that banner or flag is clearly shown, the person, animal or vehicle that bears it can enter the nation without being impeded, regardless of circumstances. Originally issued to explorers needing to return for immediate medical attention or under fire, these papers are also issued to ports and shipping lanes to designate priority deliveries.

Letters of Credit:

House Kundarak provides a banking service throughout Khorvaire that allows larges sums of money to be transferred with merely a well documented note. Having an account with House Kundarak requires a minimum balance of at least 1,000 gp and each letter of credit written costs a 1% fee to the account it is drawn from. However, since one must visit a Kundarak holding house to redeem the note, it is a secure method of making sure only the proper people get paid.

Letters of Marque:

In order to bring recovered relics and antiquities back into the borders of most countries, a letter of marque is needed beforehand, detailing the relative location where these relics are to be found. The letter provides legal and military defense from the country that issued it in case natives come looking for it, but attempting to smuggle relics in without a letter of marque is punished with the confiscation of the entire store of recovered antiquities as well as a stiff fine (usually 20% of the value of what was recovered). Letters of marque are usually only good for one excursion, although they may be issued for a duration of up to one year to the same location.

Letters of Proxy:

In case a person cannot physically be present for an important meeting or to decide on a legal matter, a letter of proxy details the name, identity, relationship and scope for someone else to act on their behalf.

Permits, Marketplace:

Many towns across Khorvaire require monthly permits for people to set up shop in order to cover the cost of the city guard to patrol that area. The prestige and security of a marketplace directly affects the cost of permits in that area, with poor marketplaces only patrolled to prevent full scale rioting, up to excellent marketplaces, where the city guard will safeguard individual shops from even vandalism.

Travelling Papers:

In order to travel to other countries across Khorvaire, travelling papers must be purchased (usually from a House Orien post) detailing the country you are coming from, the one you are going to and route you will be taking. The guards of the country you are wanting to enter cannot detain you if you follow the plans detailed on your travelling papers, but being caught crossing into another country without travelling papers or ones that detail some other route will require some quick explanation to avoid being detained.

Forged Papers:

Many of the techniques used to secure papers to make them genuine are not foolproof. Given time and money, convincing forgeries can made of almost any document. Identification and travelling papers are the easiest to duplicate, only costing three times the normal amount. Permits of all times are four times normal cost, while all other kinds are five times as costly.

Apartment or Home:

A place to stay. Poor homes are barely enough to support a family of four. Average homes can support a family of four with some amneities. Upscale homes can easily support larger families and have some luxuries.

Shops:

A place to conduct business. Poor shop have little to no security or storage. Average shops have average locks and enough storage for day to day operations. Upscale shops have excellent locks and enough storage to hold months of product.

Everburning Lantern:

This bullseye lantern simply has the candle mounting inside enspelled with Continual Flame, providing just as much light as a regular bullseye lantern, but never running out of fuel. In other ways, it functions as a bullseye lantern.

Flametouched Iron Holy Symbol:

Made form flametouched iron, these rare holy symbols provide a +1 class level to channel positive energy effects regardless of the faith involved. However, given the sacred nature of this material, having a flametouched iron holy symbol of any faith other than the Church of the Silver Flame visible will immediately gain a hostile response from those that follow the Silver Flame.

Gleaming Icon of the Sovereign Host:

The Octogram is the holy symbol of the Sovereign Host. While crafted in a myriad of colors, representing the different gods of the Sovereign Host, when crafted from gold and enamel made from powered sapphires, it shows the true brilliance of the entire Host. This icon counts an alter for the purposes of Consecrate and when targeted by the spell cast by worshipers of the Sovereign Host or one of the deities within it, it adds a +1 to the caster level.

Glyphbook:

A collection of published notes of previous attempts to decipher a single old or complex language, like the giant script of Xen'Drik, providing a +4 circumstances bonus to Linguistic checks to decipher the same language

Inquisitive Kit:

A collection of magnifying glasses, tweezers, picks, specimen jars, testing chemicals, measuring tape and other similar tools that provide a +4 circumstance bonus to Perception checks to examine a crime scene for clues.

Potion Bracer:

A potion bracer is a special bracer that can hold up to three potions along the forearm. While it is weighty and awkward (imposing a +5% arcane spell failure chance for each one worn), it does allow the wearer to drink one of the three potions in the bracer as a standard action that does not provoke or requiring him to drop what he is wielding. Placing a new potion in the bracer takes one minute each. The downside of wearing a potion bracer is that they are obvious and any attempts to sunder or steal a potion stored in it is at a +4 circumstance bonus. A potion bracer has a hardness of 8 and 5 hit points. A potion bracer with the broken condition looses one randomly determined stored potion, while one that is destroyed looses all stored potions.

Rubbing Kit:

A rubbing kit allows one to make a perfect, one color copy of surface reliefs and engravings. It takes 1 minute for a 1 foot by 1 foot section, but rushing it can be done as a full round action that provokes, but causes a -5 penalty to any related skill checks with the rubbing. A single kit holds 20 sheets and enough charcoal or wax sticks for it.

Scrying Shard:

This polished Eberron dragonshard has been attuned to act as the focus for the Scrying spell, but is small enough to easily be carried in a pocket.

Warforged Repair Kit:

A collection of tools and common replacement parts needed to provide a +2 circumstance bonus to repair a warforged. Like a healer's kit, the warforged repair kit can only be used 10 times before needed to be replaced or restocked.

Wizard's Spellshard:

This fist-sized, specially prepared gem acts like a small wizard's spellbook. It holds 20 pages worth of spells and requires the Arcane Mark spell and the normal cost of transcription materials to add a spell to a spellshard. However, the spellshard only looks like a normal gem (not radiating magic) until it is placed next to a source of light at least as bright as a torch, casting shadows in the shapes of the runes needed to memorize spells.
