This spell can only be cast at the heart of a preexisting manifest zone. This is easier said than done, as the heart of a manifest zone allows travel between Eberron and the related plane without the use of magic. This naturally makes it a center for natives of this other plane to congregate, which might easily lead to an altercation. It requires a significant sacrifice of gems, materials or other valuable items that is symbolically appropriate to the plane that caused the manifest zone. This sacrifice is not destroyed, but instead becomes absorbed into the ground around the heart of the manifest zone. While the duration of this spell is technically permanent, it can be easily dispelled by going to the heart of the manifest zone, finding the sacrificial materials used in the casting and destroying them or removing them from their holding area. Likewise, if a manifest zone would naturally disappear or move over time, this spell collapses as soon as the heart of the manifest zone is not in the same square as the sacrificial items.

When cast, the caster chooses one planar quality, either gravity, time, morphic ability or traits, of the connected plane and applies it to the area already covered by the manifest zone. This can make a manifest zone of Doluurh experience heavy gravity or make it so that that stay in the manifest zone turn into incorporeal shades over time. Multiple castings of Intensify Manifest Zone allow for different planar qualities to be applied from the connected plane, but do not further amplify existing qualities. Intensify Manifest Zone does not give the caster any other ability to control the effects of manifest zone or those within it.
