Undying Wizard

"If you would, please follow me", said the dry, dead mouth of the elven wizard. His form had long since given up any pretext of mortality. All that was left of mummified skin, wrapped tightly over bones. And yet, his robes were still immaculate. The wand he carried at his side still shined of gold and coral. "The Undying Court will receive your entourage tomorrow morning, but until then, rest here."

"Are you certain he isn't a zombie", Tugor whispered through his half-orc tusks.

"Absolutely, you idiot. And if you value any of our lives, you will not even think that again", snapped back his dragonmarked charge.

An undying wizard is a common staple in the City of the Dead in Aerenal. Acting as assistants, scribes and advisors to the day to day activities of the Undying court, they are no less unnerving to look at. A pale corpse of an elven wizard, still dressed in the garb of his life, he still moves with some of the elven grace, if a little slower.
