Symbiont, Breed Leech
This large black slug has a triangular mouth. It will instinctively attach itself to the nearest patch of skin large enough for it to feed. Oddly, there are those that are willing to carry on these leeches on their back or shoulder, citing that it has saved their life when things got really hairy.

Attachment (Ex): Breed leeches deal 1 point of Constitution damage. If a breed leech is attached to a host that is pregnant or gets pregnant, it will resist any attempt to be removed. If left attached for the duration of the pregnancy, the child has been turned into a daelkyr half-blood.
Collective Ego: Breed leeches have an Ego Score of 4, as per the symbiont sub-type. If the host is pregnant, this increases to 24 for the duration of the pregnancy. Unless created otherwise, breed leeches are always lawful evil and are always in the service of the daelkyr lords of Xoriat.
Item Slot (Ex): Breed leeches are attached to the stomach. Thus, they take up the body slot.
Host Benefits:
Bolster Body (Su): While attached, the breed leech provides the host a +1 circumstance bonus to Fortitude saves. Also, once per day, the breed leach can provide the host with 5 temporary hit points that last for 1 minute. Doing so requires the host to spend an immediate action.
Telepathy (Su): A breed leech can communicate telepathically with its host, if the host has a language.

Breed leeches are the most basic of symbionts and are used to spread the race of Daelkyr Half-blood throughout the surface of Eberron. Resembling an over-sized leech, breed leeches are slick, flexible and are able to be easily hidden under all but skin-tight clothing. Breed leeches are based on a necklace item that provides Aid once per day, just replacing bonus to attack and saving throws against fear with a bonus to Fortitude saves.
