Undying Aura
School: Conjuration (healing); Level: Cleric / oracle 5
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Components: V,S,F (a piece of crystal worth 500 gp)
Range: Touch
Target: Living creature touched
Duration: 1 minute / level or until discharged
Saving Throw: Will half (see text); Spell Resistance: Yes (see text)
Source: MoE, pg. 103
By channeling an aura of intense positive energy around the target, the target becomes immune to death effects, energy drain effects and any negative energy effects for the duration of the spell. As a standard action that does not provoke, the target can choose to prematurely end the spell by channeling it against an intense source of positive energy. If used against an undead creature, the target must make a successful melee touch attack. If successful, the undead creature takes 1d6 per caster level of positive energy (max 15d6). A successful Will save halves the damage and spell resistance does apply.
If used against another source of intense negative energy, such as an Unhallow spell or other lasting negative energy effect, this spell still requires a successful melee touch attack to the source and acts as Greater Dispel Magic to do a targeted dispel against the source of negative energy. The caster level check is made with your caster level, not that of the target. This spell cannot be used to heal, much like channeling positive energy specifically to damage the undead.
