Quorbred Creature

Just as the Quorbound are good tools and spies for the Inspired, the same experiments lead to another offshoot that can be applied to a wider range of creatures, making them resistant to the abilities of their kalashtar enemies. Unfortunately, these characteristics did bred true to the following generations, if only with recessive traits, and thus plenty of Quorbred Creatures actually oppose the Inspired themselves. Creating a Quorbound Creature:

"Quorbred" is an inherited template that can be applied to any aberration, animal, dragon, fey, humanoid, magical beast or monstrous humanoid does not have the psionic subtype. (referred to hereafter as the base creature). The Quorbred template cannot be applied to a creature that already has the Quorbound template.

CR: Same as the base creature +1

Size and Type: Same as the base creature.

AC: Same as the base creature.

Hit Dice: Same as the base creature.

Defensive Abilities: Same as the base creature, plus quorbred creatures are immune to fear and effects that relying on dreaming as well as a +4 racial bonus on saves against illusions and other mind-affecting effects.

Speed: Same as the base creature.

Attacks: Same as the base creature.

Damage: Same as the base creature

Space / Reach: Same as the base creature.

Special Attacks: Same as the base creature.

Abilities: Same as the base creature

Feats: Same as the base creature, plus a quorbred creature gains the Disruptive feat as a bonus feat, even if they do not qualify for it.

Skills: Same as the base creature.

Special Qualities:

Antipsionic: Quorbred creatures cannot learn or use psionic powers, psi-like abilities, or psionic feats. If the base creature has any of these abilities, they are lost. All spellcasting and spell-like abilities are retained as normal.

Mental Resistance (Su): Quorbred creatures gain a form of resistance to any hit point damage dealt through a telepathic attack. Treat this as telepathic resistance 5.

Power Resistance (Su): Quorbred creatures get power resistance equal to 11 + its Hit Dice. If the base creature already has a better spell or power resistance, use that instead. If you are not using the magic-psionic transparency rule, then this resistance is only toward psionic powers and psi-like abilities.

Environment: Same as base creature.

Organization: Same as base creature.

Treasure: Same as base creature.
