By making the amplified cry or howl of a vicious predator, any targeted animal must make a Will save or be panicked. A successful Will save means the animal is only shaken for the turn. An animal that is carrying someone, as per a mount, and happens to fail its Will save will attempt to shake the rider as it flees. Staying on each round (or safely dismounting) is a Ride check, DC 25 + caster level. Otherwise, the rider is prone on the ground at the beginning of his next turn. This spell has no effect on creatures not of the animal type.
