Aura: Strong Abjuration; CL: 11th

Slot: Head; Price: 20,000 gp; Wgt: 3 lbs

Special Notes / Rules: Dragonmarked

Source: ECB, pg. 261

Description:

This helmet is adorned with a number of Siberys dragonshards along the circumference, decorated as a dozen eyes. Each of these shards are attuned to the Mark of the Sentinel and when worn by one that has the Mark of Sentinel, he can create a Contingency effect that automatically triggers one of his dragonmarked spell-like abilities as per the spell of the same name. The Contingency effect is only active while the helmet is worn and is immediate removed when the helmet is removed, requiring it to be set back up again.

Only one Contingency effect can be created by the helm at a time, but the wearer can remove and recreate the Contingency effect at any point with 10 minutes of concentration. For example, someone with the dragonmarked spell-like ability of Globe of Invulnerability can set it to trigger when successfully targeted by a hostile spell. If it becomes apparent that the Globe of Invulnerability is not useful latter in the day, 10 minutes of concentration can reset the Contingency effect to activate Shield when successfully struck in combat.
