Silvereye Marauder

Another band of highwaymen lie dead on the road to Flamekeep. This was the third group this month and Irouk was glad that the High Cardinal had authorized the use of those metal sentries. In the years of the Last War, these beasts would stalk Karrnathi undead or Droaam insurgents. Nowadays, they patrol the trade routes at night, keeping the roads safe for good, honest folk. Still, it is disturbing to know that those weird flashes of light in the distance at night weren't the lights of fireflies, like his children thought. They were the eyes of eternal, unthinking predator that cut down anything that didn't withstand it's silver breath.

Designed to be strike forces during the Last War, these creations are barely related to warforged and other living constructs; not enough to warrant the Living Construct template or sentience of any level. Instead, these constructs have the intelligence and mannerisms of fast hunting cats. They prefer to hunt at night and stalk their targets from a distance, relying on their superior darkvision. They then charge from over a hundred feet away (if possible) and pounce on a likely target. Once the first target is down, or if attacked from range, it follows with its breath weapon. Occasionally, it will encounter someone that does not take damage from the breath weapon. If this occurs, it will no longer regard that target as a threat unless attacked by that target.

Construction:

Silvereye marauders are crafted from a reinforced statue of a large hunting cat, made entirely of silver costing 5,000 gp. It does not need to be very well made, but it must be durable. Silvereye marauders can be created with additional hit dice, each additional an additional 5,000 gp to the base cost.
