Hag, Dusk

An old woman, with skin like yellowed, wrinkled paper, tries to keep her distance from you. Using the rotten trees and stumps of the swamp as cover, her red eyes study you cautiously. Only once she has assessed you as something more than a mere threat does she come into view. Her hands, ending in long, sharp claws, clear her greasy hair from her face and she asks what your intentions are in a voice that sounds like the plague victim.

Dusk hags are smaller, slender variants of the common hag. While not necessarily evil, they do prefer the company of their own sisters to other races, despite not being as aggressive as some. Dusk hags typically prefer to avoid combat, using their Fog Cloud and Disguise Self to escape danger. What makes Dusk Hags well known is their gift of prophecy, despite the numerous tales of those that seek such prophecy succumbing to a gross misinterpretation of it. Other hags often keep a Dusk Hag around specifically for this insight, using it to launch their vile schemes.
