予定だ（よていだ）
Meaning: plan to, intend to
It is used to say that a schedule has already been decided.
It can also be used regardless of the speaker's will.
Formation
Verb + 予定だ
Noun + の予定だ
Examples
来年日本で仕事をする予定です。
らいねん にほんでしごとをするよていです。
I will work in Japan next year.
週末友達と映画を見に行く予定です。
しゅうまつ ともだちと えいがをみにいくよていです。
I'm going to see a movie with my friends.
明日７時に新幹線に乗る予定です。
あすしちじに しんかんせんに のるよていです。
I'm plannning to get on the Shinkansen at 7 tomorrow.
来月ベトナムへ出張の予定です。
らいげつ ベトナムへ しゅっちょうのよていです。
I will be on a business trip to Vietnam next month.
午後はお客様の会社で会議の予定です。
ごごは おきゃくさまのかいしゃで かいぎのよていです。
A meeting will be held at our partner's office in the afternoon.
入学試験は１月１７日の予定です。
にゅうがくしけんは いちがつじゅうしちにちの よていです。
The entrance exam is scheduled for January 17th.
