Notes

①以来 cannot be used with a time in the very recent past.

×昨日以来、何も食べていない。

〇昨日から何も食べていない。（きのうから なにも たべていない。）

I haven't eaten anything since yesterday.

②It cannot be used in sentences that represent the future.

×来週以来、一緒に勉強をしましょう。

〇来週から（or 来週以降）、一緒に勉強をしましょう。（らいしゅうから or らいしゅういこう、一緒に勉強をしましょう）
