Meaning: do something for someone, do someone a favor by doing something

Formation

A は B に　Verb て form やる

The following words are used for B : Beneath A, a person who is very close to A, animals and plants.

Examples

お子さんの誕生日に何をするつもりですか。

I washed my dog's paw.

Notes

It can be rude to use it for actions against the person you are talking to, so you should not use "てやる".
