Soul Syndicate Band

Wow wow. Way back when, when reggae was just going over from roots
rockers to dancehall - there appeared news of new documentary film to
rival 'Roots Rock Reggae' Try as might I could find no more info on,
hope that's it might be shown in the UK, were dashed, and so were
hopes of a VHS release. Now after all these years - here it is. And
what a DVD this is!!! In one hour, Jerry Stein and Jeff Roth provide
some of the greatest moments of that time involving the Soul Syndicate
and those around them. People like Tony Tuff (who opens the DVD) Earl
Zero, and of course all the members of the Soul Syndicate band. In
between hearing them at work, you get interviews with Chinna, Fully,
Tony Chin, Santa all talking about the music they love. Its very hard
to pick out special moments because there are so many, but at the end
when Earl Zero steps up to the mike to give us a rendition of 'None
Shall Escape The Time' could be one. The picture quality is fantastic
and the sound quality is excellent - a DVD that each and every reggae
fan would want to have in their collection
