You can only wonder where reggae music would be today, if Tropical Sound Tracs, Talent Corporation, and Micron would have been more successful. Only Tropical Sound Tracs touched the UK charts. But they all put out some great music. One of the best known tunes from Micron on its advance label is ‘Lorna Banana’ from Junior Byles. ‘Oh Caroline’ a recut by Junior is sadly not here - but they were both big tunes. Although its great to see music from Joe Higgs, I Roy, U.Roy and The Defenders here on this set. A great work with some great sleeve notes.
