Triston Palma
Triston Palma - Joker Smoker - Greensleeves - 1982
Edi Fitzroy's successful transformation of the country vocal style
into something more urban was bound to attract other young singers.
Triston was one of the first. His 'Joker Smoker' for DJ/Producer Jah
Thomas gave him a big hit. Resulting in this LP, also produced by Jah
Thomas, who was yet another producer who could obtain a different
sound from the Roots Radics. Another big plus factor on this album is
the mixing skills of Solgie. Add all of this to Triston's
singing/songwriting skills and you get a great set.
