African Brothers - Want Some Freedom - Easy Star

Sugar Minott, Tony Tuff and Derrick Howard are/were the African

Brothers. One of many vocal groups that existed during the seventies

in Jamaica. Why the African Brothers did not become Culture, or Black

Uhuru, or Israel Vibration is hard to say. They had the songs and

three great singers. Perhaps it was just case of being in the wrong

place at the wrong time. Anyway years on we have this excellent 16

track set to listen too, with all or most of there songs. Some of them

were big hits 'Party Night', Mystery Of Nature and Torturing. Every

single song here is magical in one way or another. Respect to Easy

Star for making this set happen. Its long overdue.
