When Jack Ruby emerged in the mid-seventies with the likes of Burning Spear and Justin Hinds in his camp
it looked like Reggae had yet another sound to enjoy and at the time there was so many different types of
sound from Lee Perry to Joe Gibbs, to Channel One.
Jack also released great music from Delroy Wilson and a few others. Delroy isn’t here, but the Gaylads
and The Heptones, The Eagles and The Black Survivors are. It’s all great music. It’s just a shame that
within just a few years Jack had returned back to his sound system - but that is another story.
