Hugh has kept a very low profile lately although in 1985 it looked like 1986 would his year. This Witty Reid set. Though is another step forward for him. Solid recuts of 'Happy Go Lucky Girl' and 'Rock Steady' are complemented by originals like '400 Years' 'Ghetto Children' and 'Mother Africa' that are sung over popular dance hall rhythms. Vocally Hugh is aided by Witty's production that makes extensive use of double tracking ete to give Hugh's already special voice that little bit more.
