Excellent, truly excellent. Every single cut on this set is a perfect example of the early ragga style. The rhythms are built in a style that mixes up the best elements of Tubby’s and Jammys. The extra large digital bass sound is offset perfectly by a drum pattern that is the same on every track, but the bass work and melodies are so good that it never gets monotonous. Then of course there is the deejaying of Dignitary that is close to the style of Tonto Irie/Supercat. He attacks the rhythms with such confindence that you can’t wait to hear what he’s going to come out with next. Mixing as well is superb with the engineer throwing in some great fx."
