'Rat A Cut Bottle' was a massive hit for Lion Youth, the combination of a young sounding Gregory Isaacs singing a hard reality tune over a tough UK produced rhythm gave the UK reggae scene fresh hope and at the same time more confidence. John Rubie who produced it, quickly followed it with this superb album. Which showed a more softer side to Lion Youth, although it still contains just enough rawness that made 'Rat' so good. 'Rat' isn't on the album which is sad, but then so is the fact that Lion Youth doesn't record anymore.
