A truly remarkable debut from the one Archie- produced by Lloyd Dennis. Great songs and great singing - don't need a lot of producing - they tend to just happen. Still Lloyd's production knowledge pulls in every digital style from the very beginnings of the digital style. Even a touch of the UK Roots style is present here. But Lloyd being a good producer just lets Archie sing without wishing to confine him into this style or that style.

Archie's songs cover every aspect of human nature - love songs, reality songs, cultural tunes. It's this balance of styles that made all the greats - great! From Alton Ellis to John Holt, Gregory Isaacs and Dennis Brown.

Archie's singing style is without a doubt Garnett Silk. Perhaps a little touch of Beres Hammond - but blending together vocal style is what made reggae music what it is. A truly fantastic set!
