Simms & Robinson
Noel 'Zoot' Simms & Roy Robinson recorded for Dada Tauri way back in 1953. And never actually recorded in the Ska era 63-65. And yet there influence on this era was considerable.
Produced by Coxsone Dodd they worked with the Mellow Cats and Count Ossie. Zoot Simms as a solo artist sometimes under the name of Mr Foundation worked with Buster and Coxsone. With whom he recorded much loved tunes like 'Golden Pen' and 'See Them A Come'
In the seventies Zoot teamed up with Alton Ellis recording 'Oppression' for Coxsone.
Zoot aka Mr Foundation aka Sculley also moved into percussion work. Releasing one tune with Roy Cousins on Wambesi - 'See Them A Come'.
