Ernest Wilson -Love Revolution -Natty Congo -1987
It's possible that this is Ernest's debut album, and that is incredible when you think that his career goes back to the Ska era with theClarendonians. A solo singer from at least the late sixties when he mad 'Money Worries' for Joe Gibbs. This LP finds him under the production guidance of Trevor Bow, and is simply something else. It proves to me that the so called 'Dance Hall Style' still has plenty ofvariety. This is the Wailers band in a dancehall style, and they show that it can be done in a new way."
"Ernest Wilson -Promise Me -Techniques -1988.
Winston Riley often releases an LP by a newcomer with an older artist. In the early 80's, He did it with Madoo and Johnny Osbourne,in the mid 80's Frankie Paul and Don Evans, and now Courtney Melody and Ernest Wilson. If it means anything (and I think it does), it probably shows his appreciation of the amount of old and new talent who with the proper direction can still/ and will make a lasting contribution to the business/ Here are are some strong rhythms matched by Ernest's strong soulful voice."
