Silver Cat – In A Fowl Affair – VP - 1995

On the basis of imitators – copyists – sound alikes – Buju Banton must have the most!!! Being a member of the cat family – I was expecting – Silver to be influenced by Supercat – but Silver Cat is a cat with a very very deep growl. But unless you was coming with something really new – it would have been very hard to get past Buju Banton at this time. Timing is everything with deejays on record and off of it. And album like this – released a year or so later – would have got everyone jumping. By that time Buju had been caught in major label business – which distracted him a lot. Anyways not a bad album from the Silver one!
