Terry Ganzie – Outlaw Nuff Reward – VP - 1993
By the time Terry got around to making his debut album – his original style didn't seem to count for that much – such was the madness that had gripped reggae at that time. Ganzie, wasn't Shabba and he wasn't Buju. Thankfully that didn't bother John John at Jammys. He just dug out some of the biggest and best rhythms for him – and Ganzie did the rest. When a DJ rides rhythms like these it sounds easy but its not coming up with something new for these kind of rhythms is an hard test for any DJ. The man passes the test on every track – another excellent debut set.
Terry Ganzie – Team Up – Digital B - 1993
The game of production ping pong that Jammys and Bobby Digital had going at one time was a wonder to behold. Every move one made, the other responded. And so if the Jammys camp came with a Terry Ganzie – Bobby in the true spirit of Jamaican music responded. Out of the two it seems to me that Jammy as got the edge. Ganzie doesn't seem to get on too well with some of the more bangra style rhythms that Bobby gives to him. A lot of deejays suffered from the same problem – but no one seemed to care that much – and the end result is what we have now. Where have all the deejays gone?!
