Adja -Inna Red I Hour - I Grade

Another great set from the Virgin Islands reggae collective. The home

of roots music in this time. Still not sure why the Midnite band have

broken through, perhaps it takes a bit more of a movement for people

to lock onto. So this set from Adja provides something a little

different from what Midnite are doing. Its still roots, but with a

great emphasis on harmony. Listen out for 'War' which as got a

tremendous amount of word play - and is one of the best reggae tunes

bar none on the subject. When it gets to a tune like 'Pass De Kahn'

featruing Yahdanai, we are treated to a very weird version of 'Pass

The Kuchie' made famous by the Diamonds. If you haven't yet checked
