Cables - What Kind Of World - Studio One

Each era of reggae music brings to mind a certain sound. With reggae

most people associate the sound of Leslie Kong's Beverley's label. Yet

Coxsone also had a strong and very distinctive reggae sound. And on

this debut album from The Cables,(Keble Drummond - lead, Bobby

Dockerty, Vincent Stoddard) it can be heard at it very best. What

really makes this album though are the superb harmonies and great

songs of the Cables. And two of the greatest are on the album 'Baby

Why' and 'What Kind Of World' both true classics.
