The Kingstonians - Natty Dread Special - CD and Mag

A great idea and long overdue. The Kingstonians are really only known

for there debut album for Derrick Harriott - 'Sufferer' which came out

on Trojan back in the late sixties, but Jackie Bernard leader of the

group carried on well into the seventies. And its these titles that

are included here. Some truly great tunes presented in a showcase

style. Vocal and then dub. The magazine contains and interview and

some great pics. Its just a shame that its not available somewhere in

English. It would help sales of the project and it would The

Kingstonians. Before the internet this kind of thing would be hard to

do - but with websites its a lot easier. All it needs is some French

loving reggae fans who know English!!!
