'Gunshot' for Jah Thomas's Midnight Rock label took Anthony Johnson to the top of the reggae charts in '83. The 'Gunshot' album, also for Jah Thomas followed shortly after that, then apart from a second album 'I'm Ready' which appeared on the Rusty International label in late 83 we've heard very little from Anthony. This album for Jammys seems a very determined effort to make up for the lost since 'Gunshot' frist hit. 'I Love You' and 'Chuckie No Lucky' find him at his best on this excellent showcase album."
