Gussie Clarke's glossy production style was very close to the production style that Lovers Rock had evolved into in the UK in the late eighties. Sooner or later the two had to meet, and it did courtesy of Greensleeves who sent young Deborahe to Jamaica to to record with Gussie. With Gussie comes his songwriting team of Mikey Bennett and Hopeton Lindo. The bulk of the songs on this set come from them. Although Deborahe's own song 'I Know You're Cheating' is the best track on the album."
