Audrey Hall - Collectors Series - Penthouse 'One Dance' from Audrey - produced by Germain was a massive hit back in the eighties

- it was as big as JC Lodge's 'Telephone Love' from around the same time. Both tunes embraced the Dance Hall style - but had links back to the 'Lovers' style. It would have been nice if some woman singer - had come forward in a totally 'Dancehall Style' but it never happened.What did happen was that a good number of popular songs were relicked In a pop-reggae-dancehall style. This set from Penthouse pulls together some 16 tracks - and thankfully they all work. 'One Dance' is here - and so is a much better track - 'Best Thing For Me' that should have promoted more and it would have taken Audrey into the pop charts without a doubt.
