King Kong - Rumble Jumble Life - Massive B.
The last time King Kong had an album out the world was a totally
different place. And so was reggae music, Shabba was the king - King
Tubby had just been killed. And Gussie Clarke was the number one
producer. But a voice like King Kong's, the waterhouse style is
something special. You can't let a vocal style like that unemployed.
All this is needed is a choice of production style and Massive B goes
back to the early eighties more or less a Radics style - to that King
Kong lets rips some great Waterhouse/chanting style songs. In places
he even sounds like Burning Spear!!! Its a truly great set and a big
up to Massive B for another great work.
