Trying to work out what was the first of anything is always difficult in reggae music – but when it comes to UK produced DJ's albums from UK DJ Deejays this could be it. The fast style was still a year or so away. Produced by Fatman long time sound system operator – its got a collection of rhythms that sound both UK and Jamaican – but Raymond Naptali is a UK deejay – and Fatman would be considred to be more UK based than Jamaican. The result is a true credit to UK reggae – its got that kind of edge that something new needs to makes sense. A great selection of rhythm with some even better lyrics from Raymond Naptali.
