These kind of albums should always be available because when they are

not around - reggae music can get very confusing. In the early to mid

seventies Carlton Patterson and his Black and White label - was always

there. It wasn't a big label like Channel One or producers like Bunny

Lee or Lee Perry, but he had a sound. Big hits with man like Larry

Marshall kept Carlton in the reggae charts for years. And of them

carried a truly excellent dub on the back. And over the course of this

21 track selection - you get to hear all of them. Tubby's as a great

time playing around with the horn riff heard on many of Carlton's

tunes. And its wonderful to hear them again. Essential.
