Peter Culture – Facing The Fight – Ariwa – 1984

The roots scene in the UK has been very active during the last few years. One of the problems it has though is it's inability to connect with people who made roots music in the UK during the seventies and early eighties (Jah Shaka being the exception). This album is one of all time classic roots albums recorded at Ariwa and produced by Neil Fraser. It's got everything; solid bass and drums, superb guitar work from Black Steel & Ciyo and truly fantastic melodica & harmonic work from Emile & George Wilkins.
