Tommy Cowan/Talent Corporation -Life Goes In Circles 1974-1979 - Pressure Sounds

It was noted back in the mid-seventies by Carl Gayle that Jamaica really had only three record companies. Tropical Sound Tracs, Total Sounds and The Talent Corporation. Everyone else was really a producer. A record label in the west, employs everyone they need and signs artists and producers to do the work. Byron Lee did try this system at Dynamics, but you will not find mention that this tune was produced by this producer or that producer. Tommy Cowan got it right. The roster of artists here is incredible. And there are true classics like Dennis Brown's first self produced tune 'Life Goes In Circles・Which sounds like the Now Gen band meets The Wailers! And the song is one of his best. Other outstanding tunes are Earl Zero 舛ity Of The Weakheart・which is another self production. No room here for Israel Vibration or I Kong - but you can't include everything!!! A great set.
