Rappa Robert – Come In A Dis – Ethnic Fight - 1983
By 1983, most of the current crop of deejays could jump from one deejay style to another without any problem at all. Lone Ranger/Yellowman was very popular and so of course was Briggy – and Josey Wales, never mind Charlie Chaplin. Up and coming deejays like Rappa just needed a solid selection of rhythms and bingo or perhaps that should be Forward!!!! This is a very good debut album from any deejay and its a surprise that Rappa never made any more solo sets – but the simple truth is that there is a small army of deejays with no album at all.
