Michigan And Smiley inspired a lot of Dj’s into working in duos. In the UK it was no different. Roy & Ray were DJ’s for the famous Fatman HiFi. This album though is produced by Fatman’s selector Ribs, featuring rhythms mainly built in the UK/London at Mark Angelo’s studio with the Invesitigators band, who had on bass and drum Mafia And Fluxy. Also featured on this set is engineer Lindel Lewis. Some seriously talented people at work here, and it shows. Unfortunatly the UK DJ boom was still a few years away. So the album did not get the attention it deserves, but then that’s the case with reggae itself.
