Yammie’s label goes back to early eighties. This set comes from the late eighties and the end of the Ragga era. Rolling drums - very popular then - feature on some of the tracks. And so do the sound bwoy lyrics. What Yammie needed then was a different sound - but any number of producers could have released a set like this then. It has some great moments - perhaps all that is lacking is a big hit on this set. "

More or less the same line up of artists, and more or less the same kind of ideas. Lyrically and vocally. The big difference is the inclusion of Bimbo aka Garnett Silk’s ‘Juck & Jam’. Is he singing or deejaying? An excellent great tune. Wished there were more of them! Other great tunes come from Tony Rebel & Tiger. Not forgetting the one Anthony Malvo!!!"
