1½ lb sirloin steak, sliced thin against the grain
1 cup low‑sodium beef broth
1 Tbsp sriracha
3 cloves garlic, minced
Cooked jasmine rice, for serving
Sesame seeds and thinly sliced green onions, for garnish
Layer beef and aromatics: Place the sliced steak in the slow cooker. Add beef broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, sriracha, garlic, and green onions (if using in sauce). Stir to coat.
Slow cook: Cover and cook on Low for 3½–4 hours, until beef is tender.
Thicken sauce: Scoop out about ¼ cup of cooking liquid into a bowl. Whisk in 2 Tbsp cornstarch until smooth, then stir it back into the slow cooker.
Add broccoli: Stir in broccoli florets and cook, covered, for another ~20 minutes until veggies are crisp‑tender and sauce is thickened.
Serve: Spoon beef and broccoli over rice. Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
