500 g boneless chicken fillets (about 4 pieces)
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp dried oregano or Italian seasoning
200 ml heavy cream
100 g freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Optional garnish: chopped parsley and extra Parmesan
Season and sear the chicken:
Pat the chicken fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, and oregano. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 4–5 minutes on each side until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove from the pan and set aside.
Prepare the sauce:
Lower the heat to medium. In the same skillet, add butter. Once melted, sauté the minced garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Add cream and cheese:
Pour in the heavy cream and stir well, scraping up any brown bits from the pan. Add the Parmesan cheese and stir until fully melted and the sauce begins to thicken (about 2–3 minutes).
Return chicken to the pan:
Place the cooked chicken back into the skillet, spoon the sauce over the top, and simmer for another 1–2 minutes to allow the flavors to combine.
Serve:
Garnish with chopped parsley and additional Parmesan if desired. Serve hot with your favorite side.
