Ingredients:
1 can (8-count) Southern Homestyle Buttermilk Biscuits (not flaky)
1½ cups shredded mild cheddar cheese (divided)
1 cup scrambled eggs (approximately 4–5 eggs, divided)
8 precooked sausage links, chopped (about 1 cup)
¼ cup (½ stick) unsalted butter, melted
1 teaspoon kosher salt
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:
Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) and spray a 12-inch oven-safe skillet with nonstick cooking spray.
Prepare Biscuits: Remove the biscuits from the can and flatten each one to about ⅛-inch thickness using a rolling pin.
Assemble Bombs: On each flattened biscuit, layer approximately 2 tablespoons of shredded cheese, 2 tablespoons of scrambled eggs, and 1 tablespoon of chopped sausage. Fold the edges of the biscuit over the filling to seal, pinching the seams together.
Place in Skillet: Arrange the filled biscuits seam-side down in the prepared skillet.
Brush with Butter: In a small bowl, combine the melted butter and kosher salt. Brush half of this mixture over the tops of the biscuits.
Bake: Bake the biscuits in the preheated oven for 20–23 minutes, or until they are golden brown.
Finish and Serve: Remove from the oven and brush the remaining butter mixture over the biscuits. Garnish with chopped parsley. Serve warm and enjoy!
