Starting at 8 am, why 8, why not 7?

Recall that the sign from the barber was that he opens at 8 am, no delays, no waiting. Most open at 9 am of course, thus opening at 8 is a sign along with the words "no delays, no waiting," because currently we have been delayed. On the same day there was also the sign of 522, and the up coming watch date is May 22, or 522. Thus my view is that on May 22 2016 there will be no more delays or waiting. Just the other day the clock was striking 8 o'clock, and I was opening a door in the house at the same time. A sign that the Open Door ministry begins at 8 am.

However some may think that it should open at seven not eight. Why not 7 am? If you were a barber, why on earth would you open at 7 am of all things? Of course that is not the answer you were looking for was it.

Why would people think 7 am over 8 am, well there is seven days in the week, the seventh day being the day of rest. You have six days for the earth, being 6000 years, and the seventh day is meant to be a day for rest for the earth, being the seventh millennium. Since there is a supposed up coming seventh day, and that we are near the end of the sixth day, then the seventh day is next, therefore it would make much more sense to start at 7 a.m.

Seven is spiritual perfection, completeness, day of rest, the Sabbath. There are seven colours in the rainbow. You have seven promises to the churches, seven seals, seven trumpets.

With a whole seventh day to go, a whole millennium, how on earth can you start at 8, which clearly comes after 7, you can't miss a whole number can you. Because after the millennium is day 8 when the new earth is created. But wait a minute why is God tabernacling with us on the new earth on day 8, when tabernacles is in the seventh month what is going on here?

Revelation 21:3 And I hear a loud voice out of the throne saying, "Lo! the tabernacle of God is with mankind, and He will be tabernacling with them, and they will be His peoples, and God Himself will be with them." {CLV}

Some incorrectly put this with the time of the supposed seventh millennium on the old earth, however at the start of the chapter you have the New Heavens and the New Earth. That means that this is occurring on the new earth, that is when the tabernacle of God is with mankind, not just the saints, or chosen, but with mankind. There is no verse saying that this is occurring or to occur on the old earth.

Thus while the feast of tabernacles was in the seventh Hebrew month, the up coming tabernacles period will be on the eighth day not the seventh. In the scriptures there is first Passover, but if you miss first Passover, you can hold it in the next month. No where in the scriptures does it say about missing tabernacles. However here in Revelation it is like tabernacles has been missed and is being held in the next month.

What then happens on the seventh day in the seventh millennium? Is this not the time of the millennium in Revelation? Is the millennium not a time of tabernacles also? It does not mention God tabernacling with mankind during the millennium. If he is to tabernacle with mankind during an up coming millennium then such an important event should be mentioned, but it is not. The fact that it is not mentioned until the time of the new Earth should tell us something. One should not assume that God is tabernacling with mankind during the millennium.

It is just like the assumption that the thrones mentioned at the start of the millennium reign are on the earth, when it does not actually say that anywhere. In fact John is still in Heaven at this point in his vision, he has not returned to the earth.

However if the seventh day was coming, then should not we start at 7 a.m., not 8 a.m. Why is God not going to tabernacle with mankind on the seventh day if it is indeed to come?

In fact there is no up coming seventh day of rest for the earth. What then has happened to the seventh day, that God rest on. The clue is in Genesis, this is the only day that is not closed out, for each of the six days has the words “evening” and “morning,” but the seventh day has these words left out. Here in this translation below they use the word stopping to refer to the "Rest."

Hebrews 4:1-4 We may be afraid then, lest at some time, a promise being left of entering into His stopping {rest}, anyone of you may be seeming to be deficient." For we also have been evangelized, even as those also. But the word heard does not benefit those hearers, not having been blended together with faith in those who hear." Then we who believe are entering into the stopping {rest}, according as He has declared, "As I swear in My indignation, 'If they shall be entering into My stopping-!'although the works occur from the disruption of the world." For He has declared somewhere concerning the seventh thus: And God stops "on the seventh day from all His works." {CLV}

We who believe are now at this time entering into the stopping or the rest. The "They" here was the generation that came out of Egypt and stayed in the wilderness for forty years, Hebrews 3:7-11. If they had not been stubborn then they could have entered the rest.

"For some who hear embitter Him; but not all those coming out of Egypt through Moses. Now with whom is He disgusted forty years? Was it not with those who sin, whose carcasses fall in the wilderness? Now to whom does He swear, not to be entering into His stopping {rest}, except to the stubborn? And we are observing that they could not enter because of unbelief." Hebrews 3:16-19

The last part of Hebrews 4:1-4 above refers directly to the seventh day in Genesis when God stops from all his works. “Genesis 2:2.… on the seventh day from all His work”. This tells us that this period of rest that can be entered into is the seventh day, did not come to an end. This means there is no coming seventh millennium and agrees with my view that there is no coming millennium reign.

In the movie "Bruce Almighty," Bruce goes to meet God on the seventh floor. I can not recall how it exactly goes, but Bruce is to come back to clean the floor on the seventh day at seven o'clock. The reason I mention this is because he comes back on the seventh day. I know it is only a movie but it does show you can meet with God on the seventh day. There is more on God's Rest in the article: When is God's Rest

That is not to say that I have ruled out the millennium, it would be wrong of me to completely ignore or do away with those verses in the bible just because they do not fit my view.

However there is a different view of the millennium. You see the millennium started almost 2000 years ago straight after the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple. We are now in fact near the end of the millennium reign, with Jesus Christ to return very soon. What happens at the end of the millennium, this old earth is complete destroyed along with the heavens for it is all replaced with the new Heavens and the new Earth.

Revelation 21:1 And I perceived a new heaven and a new earth, for the former heaven and the former earth pass away, and the sea is no more." {CLV}

This agrees with what it says in 2 Peter 3: 3-13 about his return.

However people seem to what to put the millennium in between Jesus' return and the destruction of the earth.

I will not be covering the millennium in depth in this Journal entry, for more on the millennium refer to my article: When is the Millennium

The number 8 means new birth, new creation, new beginnings. There are seven days in a week, the eighth day is the start of the new week. The number for Jesus is 888. We are to prepare the way for his return.

For the eighth day is coming, as the sixth day draws to a close, and the seventh day continues on for it is in the past, it is now also, and in the the future, enjoy the seventh day, enter into God's rest, celebrate the coming eighth day.
