WILL All BE SAVED? YES!
The answer of course Most Definitely is YES, all mankind will be saved.
But just ruling out the other views, does not make it the answer, we have to see why it is the answer.
Christian Universalism is the Answer Part 1
What do I mean by “Christian Universalism?”
Christian Universalism is what we will be looking at in this topic, and that is my belief….Under Christian Universalism, Jesus died for your sins, for everyone’s sins, he is the saviour of the whole human race…..Everyone will get to heaven…..Really Good News…However unbelievers will have to face Judgement first…...they will have to go through the Lake of Fire.
Under Christian Universalism no one is in hell now or in the future, no one is annihilated by an uncaring god. Don’t get me wrong I am not ruling out the “Lake of Fire,” which is in the Bible in Revelation, but this is not the hell that is present by the churches as some ongoing endless punishment. More on the “Lake of Fire” to follow later.
Jesus Christ is the Saviour. What do I mean by that? I mean HE IS the SAVIOUR OF ALL MANKIND, the Saviour of the Human race, there is no one He did Not save, No one is left out. His sacrifice was for everyone’s sins past, present and future. And when I say everyone I mean Everyone, no one is excluded, no in has been left out. If anyone was left out, if any sin is not covered, then He failed.
CHRISTIAN UNIVERSALISM is what I believe in, which is BIBLICAL UNIVERSAL RECONCILIATION.
Biblical meaning that it is based on the scriptures, the Bible. Universal meaning that it covers all that is in heavens and on the earth. Reconciliation: that All in the heavens and on the earth will be reconciled to God through Jesus Christ. Peace having been made through the blood of the cross.
Colossians 1:20 and through Him {Christ} to reconcile all to Him {God}(making peace through the blood of His cross), through Him {Christ}, whether those on the earth or those in the heavens." {CLV}
Jesus Christ’s work on the Cross is Finished, there is no more to be done to complete the work. No one can add to it or take away from it. You can not disqualify yourself from the cross. Thus All will Get to heaven, no one will be left behind. This is the only way to Heaven, there is no other. More scripture support later.
Other terms are “Reconciliation of All,” “Restoration of All,” “Salvation of All Mankind.” Note some Christian Universalists just call it “Universalism,” however this can lead to confusion with general Universalism, which covered earlier in “Part 3 No Idea and Universalism.”
Under this view you do not have to believe in Christ before you die. Most teach that you have to believe before you die. This places an unnecessary burden on the part of the unbeliever. Not every single person has heard of Christ or knows of God’s salvation. There are those who view the Bible as just an old book, or Jesus as just an historical figure. Then there are those who have been taught falsely that He failed and someone else was sent. There are no end of hurdles place in front of the unbeliever and still they are meant to find Christ and believe. Secondly as already covered in Part 11 it is Christ that has already chosen who will believe before the foundation of the world.
Under this view surely people will sin more. Actually under the most popular view of Hell {that of suffering forever} has not stopped people sinning. The people who use this objection state that, since everyone will get to heaven no matter what you have done, the teach of this view, will have people sin more. There is no evidence that backs up this view point. Knowing that you are going to heaven might make people sin less. Weather people sin more or less is not the point, the point is what does the Bible teach, will every single person be saved or not. There are holders of the Christian Universalism view that do teach future punishment. This will be covered later.
